Secondhand clothes shop
Bath is great if your after second hand clothes, not to mention all the great charity shops (if your prepared to hunt)
One shop that has become my new temptation as I walk to work, is Black & White, on Broad Street. I love camel, who doesn't, as its always a classic. And I spotted this great oversize cape! It was mine for £20
• I love orange •
I've loved Toywatch for a few years now, and I still haven't got one! Although its not quite the same I purchased an orange watch off ebay for a cheap price of £8...so go get one theres loads of colours. My next choice will be yellow and white.
This is perfect for quick, cheap fashion fix and brightens up an outfit.
• Big hair •
I'm loving big bold hair this season, and I purchased some new Porcelain Triple Barrel Waver by BabylissPro Stylist Tools. The achieved look is 'gorgeous, defined finger waves'. I left the waves quite rough, to try and aim for a naturalish look!
Overall, i'm pretty happy with the result, as its definitely bigger, and its a new look that I haven't previously done. But the tool itself is heavy, and I found it difficult to wave the back of my head as I can't see what i'm doing, so a helping hand would be great (just ask your mum).

I waved about an inch down from the root, and then continued down the section of hair matching the shape of the wave as you go. I've got quite short hair, so two crimps was enough to wave each section of hair. Obviously if you have longer hair, be careful to match the wave as go down. They get very hot so beware!
This is one crimp
Definitely section each bit of hair to avoid straight parts of hair coming through! When waving towards the final top layers, I left between one and two inches at the roots before crimping. On this occassion, I then gripped my hair where the waves met the straight part.
• BIG hair this Summer •
Yes ladies, this season its all about big, beautiful hair! So ditch the straighteners, get blowdrying, curling and backcombing your fro. Volume is everything and holding it in place without too much product is also important.
"Every glamour vamp knows that big hair oozes sex appeal" - Umberto Giannini
Volumised hair is seen by top hair stylist Umberto Giannini this season; whether it be crimped to give added texture, back-combed to give height or a dominant quiff. Strong hair adds instant glamour to your outfit and should never be neglected, floppy, dull hair weakens an outfit.

O.P.I seem to be the best nail varnish brand around at the moment, and I have definitely tried them all?! To my surprise my mum added another shade to my collection called Black Shatter. Similar to Minx and other brands I think that do this, I think the finishing results are uber rock chick!
Retail price is £10 at places like Mee Boutique which is usually where I pick them on my way home from work, but Sally's also stock O.P.I
I applied a silver Rimmel colour underneath, two coats and then applied one good thick coat of Black Shatter. The trick is to apply enough nail varnish (Black Shatter) on one brush stroke to prevent thinning, and dragging of the varnish underneath. Wait a while, and you'll see the black part and create the shatter affect. Always apply a clear top coat as this holds the black bits in place and lasts longer. Although I tested on my nails, I think it looks great on the toes. I will use orange or hot pink as my base colour and Black Shatter on top for my next colours!!
• Colour Blocking •
Flicking through Vogue the other day I came across Spring/Summer's 2011 hit trends and fell in love with colour blocking instantly.
I'm in love with orange this season and I purchased my first piece of colour the other week from Miss Selfridge. Which I intended wearing for a wedding in July, but now have found a purple dress as well!! Instead of returning the orange dress, I get the luxury of having both. I teamed the orange dress with pink shoes and a bag from Primark which tied in my key colours of orange and pink for only £6. I'm not known for wearing colour, black is my safety net and always looks good, so I will pluck up the courage soon to embrace colour blocking...when the sun comes out again I think!
